Episode – 030 – GenCon Update
Immediately following the 2011 Ennies Awards ceremony, I spoke with Will Hindmarch and Jeff Tidball of Gameplaywright Press. We review some of the highlights including our plans to flip tables, the love shown for Happy Birthday Robot, and why Jeremy Keller’s excellent game Technoir makes Will Hindmarch angry.
Afterwards, we chat about Gameplaywright Press more specifically: including Eternal Lies playtesting, the books they have produced (and are in the midst of producing).
Friday is Luchador time. Mark your calendars.
GenCon (and Cons in General) provide productivity boosts, make them worthwhile.
Games on Demand rocks! I played:
- Dogs in the Vineyard (see also: Becoming Heroes)
- Technoir
- Do: Pilgrims of the Flying Temple
- Fiasco
